PROGRAMMING
Application programs for the DAT300 may be developed and tested on a standard Personal Computer in a Windows ® or MS-DOS ® environment.
The SDK (software development kit) allows easy screen design and management, with complete libraries to handle peripherals and communication.
     
    COMMUNICATIONS
DAT300 can be connected to any host computer running Windows ®, Unix/Linux or MS-DOS ® as follows:

- RS232 cable for direct local communication
- single desktop cradle
- P153/6 six position docking station
- modem

Several DAT300s may be connected to a single RS232 port of the host computer by using a daisy chain P153/6 connection. A specific communication program manages completely unattended data communication.
